Welcome to Autumn. We’re already getting 50 degree weather here in Wisconsin, and this author is settling in for a long winter of pumpkin spice lattes and writing!
Though I do have a local signing scheduled this month, my September will be mellow. I have some family things going on in my personal life and have decided to cut back on the internet parties and events for the time being. I do have a large sale planned for October, so stay tuned.
Reading Update: I’m almost done reading The Shaughnessy File by Etta Jean. I have no idea how it’s going to end, but I must admit that I adore this book and can’t wait for the next one. The Shaughnessy File is perfect for anyone who likes modern-day adult fairy tales, like the show Once Upon a Time, and some well written vanilla love scenes. I fell in love with all the characters. And I do mean all of them.
Writing Update: I’m proud to announce that Athena’s Oracle: An Heirloom Vampyres Novella hit the Amazon Top 50,000 in paid Kindle books. A big ‘thank you’ goes out to my street team for making that happen. The challenge now will be holding that position. A challenge I intend to meet.
Dark Becoming: An Ema Marx Novel 3 is a bit behind schedule due to a mishap with the editor. My publisher is doing everything they can to make up for it so we can get Dark Becoming out the door by the deadline. I’m so eager to have it out for you all to read. You have no idea how anxious I’ve been.
In the mean time, I’ve been plugging away, working on new projects. I can’t say exactly what I’m working on just yet, but I can tell you to expect a whole new series to roll out in 2015.
Events: On Saturday, September 20, 2014, I will be at the Mill Creek Hotel in downtown Lake Geneva, WI for a book signing. If you’re in the area, come meet me and your books autographed. Details can be found on the Facebook Event page here.
That’s all for now.
